LUM (ense) + (pre) CYSE = LumCyse
Two companies with leading sensor technologies in different markets inspired the newly formed company of “LumCyse” Technologies, LLC. Lumense Inc and Precyse have several things in common with LumCyse:
· Located (or previously) in Gwinnett Innovation Park, Norcross, Georgia
· Board member and investor – Leland Strange
· Innovative Sensor leading edge technologies
Lumense
Lumense was founded in 2012, received investments from the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA), Coca-Cola, and other Atlanta area venture investors and concentrated its research in ammonia sensors for poultry houses utilizing a licensed patent from Georgia Tech.
Precyse
Precyse was founded in 2012, also received investments from Atlanta venture investors and, with a series of innovative patents, provided location sensors for industrial applications including FedEx, Occidental oil, and … among many others.
Our Future
The LumCyse team is working on its own patent portfolio separate and distinct from the aforementioned companies while building on some of the underlying technologies from both of these companies. The team utilizes a small international group of researchers and contractors to install beta installations and expects to announce its own line of sensor and antenna products in 1st quarter, 2022.
